Job summary

unybrands is seeking a Supplier Account Manager to lead supplier relationships and category strategy across the Americas for a fast-growing ecommerce brand platform.

You will negotiate favorable terms, drive risk management, and partner with quality, planning and logistics to align procurement activities with business goals.

This role requires deep experience in supplier management, data-driven decision making, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (SCM, business, engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in supplier management, category management, or procurement in e-commerce or consumer products.
• Experience in pet or human consumables and supplements is desirable.
• Experience leading or mentoring others is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, understanding their business dynamics and production cycles.
• Negotiate and improve key commercial terms, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Use should-cost analysis and commodity price insights to guide negotiations and supplier selection.
• Drive supplier performance through regular business reviews, audits, and structured feedback.
• Monitor supplier heartbeat, risks, capacity issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Track, analyze, and report supplier/category performance using KPIs.
• Provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation.
