UNACEM North America seeks a Categories Manager to lead Strategic Sourcing across the region, guiding category strategies for raw materials, fuels, goods and services, and aligning procurement with operations, finance, and logistics.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of TCO, and experience managing supplier bases, with a track record of delivering measurable savings and ensuring supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, economics, or related field.
• 6–10 years in procurement or strategic sourcing with leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value supplier negotiations and savings.
• Experience defining category strategies across raw materials, fuels, goods, or services.
• Full professional English; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across UNACEM North America for Raw Materials, Fuels, Goods and Services.
• Negotiate with key suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and terms.
• Review and renegotiate contracts to capture savings and reduce duplication.
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance and risk.
• Ensure continuity of supply and alignment with budgets and company objectives.
