Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; ABET accreditation preferred.
• Professional registration or licensure (PE) required or equivalent pathway described (EI/EIT or FE/other licensure options).
• Transcripts are required with application; official transcripts may be requested later.

Responsibilities

• Serve as supervisory Section Chief for the Electrical-Mechanical Design Section.
• Oversee design of large, complex structures or engineering features.
• Review work by lower-grade engineers and/or architects; review submittals by A-E firms.
• Ensure compliance with federal design guidance and requirements in construction of buildings, structures, or civil works.
