Tyson Foods is seeking a supervisor for the production team to ensure quality and safety standards are met on the C Shift at our United States facility. You will work closely with management to guide team members, assign daily tasks, and uphold plant policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication abilities; experience with production operations and USDA regulations is preferred.

• Other requirements: good attendance and safety record. Extra consideration given to team members with technical skills; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

Job Details: SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members for quality safety and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management for this position. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; must be a team player; Ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies food safety sanitation and all other duties as determined by management.

Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities then external candidate.
