Qualifications

  • Seven years of related operational experience with supervisory roles OR three years with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledgeable in safety regulations and supervisory techniques.
  • Able to resolve operational issues effectively.

Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules.
  • Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained.
  • Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales
  • Directly supervise first-line or shift supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport
  • High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
  • Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required.
  • Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
  • Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods, and procedures needed to complete projects.
  • Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications

What We Offer You

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $101,000-$141,000 .This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
