Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Graniteville, SC is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Maintenance to lead maintenance teams, ensure safe operations, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.

This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and supervisory experience; relocation assistance may be provided. Strong communication and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5 years supervisory experience, or 9 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • High level of oral and written communication.
  • Familiarity with computer applications and/or CMMS.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets corporate policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while complying with terms of contractual labor agreement.
  • Maintains departmental attendance and overtime records.
  • Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems.
  • Coordinates activities of skilled tradesmen and schedules work with other departments
  • Manages preventive maintenance programs/procedures and utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

What you will be doing:

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or civil engineering or a business major operations/facilities management related field and 5 years supervisory experience; or 9 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer applications and/or controlled systems.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Completion of recommended company-training programs.
  • Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO/QS-9000 requirements.
  • Familiarity with "Lean Manufacturing" principles
Mental & Physical Requirements:
  • Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.
