Job summary

MPI is seeking a Lead Superintendent for its Southern California multifamily portfolio, overseeing all field operations from groundbreaking to turnover. You will coordinate subcontractors, drive scheduling, ensure quality, and enforce safety across multiple complex residential projects.

The role requires extensive multifamily construction experience, proven field leadership, and strong coordination with project teams to maintain milestones and look-ahead plans.

• Extensive multifamily construction experience.
• Proven Superintendent experience leading field operations.
• Experience managing projects valued between $20M and $60M.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction sequencing and workflow.
• Experience with scheduling and look-ahead planning.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all field operations from groundbreaking through project turnover. This individual will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, maintaining quality standards, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully.

Our client is a growing Southern California General Contractor specializing in multifamily and affordable housing construction. The company has developed a strong reputation for successfully delivering complex residential projects including podium developments, wrap-style communities, rehabilitations, retrofits, and capital improvement projects throughout the region. The organization is currently experiencing significant growth with multiple projects underway and a substantial future pipeline.
