Job summary

MPI seeks an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale mid-rise and high-rise multifamily and mixed-use construction in the Miami market. You will drive projects from mobilization through turnover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and overall operational excellence.

In this role you will manage on-site teams, coordinate with owners, architects and engineers, maintain look-ahead schedules, daily reports, and safety records, and mentor junior field

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role.
• Extensive experience delivering mid-rise and high-rise multifamily projects using concrete, masonry, and structural steel.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $50M to $300M+.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Knowledge of Miami-Dade and Broward County permitting and inspection processes.
• Experience leading large on-site teams (300+ personnel).

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for multifamily and mixed-use developments.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with Project Management teams.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field staff.
• Manage sequencing, logistics plans, crane activities, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site walks and address schedule, safety, and quality issues.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and short-interval planning sessions.
• Partner with ownership groups, architects, engineers, and municipal authorities.
• Maintain thorough project documentation including daily reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Drive project completion within budget and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field leaders.
