Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities in Leawood, KS or Houston, TX for technically complex facilities in life sciences. You will oversee specific trades, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and report to the Project Director and Construction Manager.

You will develop preconstruction and closeout plans, manage field operations, participate in constructability reviews, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities and manage field operations for assigned trades.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Support development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.
• Assist in procurement and coordination of project resources and submittals.
• Participate in constructability reviews and evaluate vendor/subcontractor invoices.
