Role Summary

The Senior Superintendent will plan, manage, and execute complex projects. Responsibilities include managing teams, planning construction sequencing, and ensuring project goals are met for timely, profitable completion, aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety culture, promote injury-free environment, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed.
• Manage subcontractors and project workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, EEOC.
• Develop work plans, coordinate site care, and lead meetings.
• Manage project schedule, budget, and costs, and communicate project info to stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation and quality standards are met, support project closeouts, and participate in project planning and negotiations.
• Recruit top talent and promote diversity and inclusion.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and teams, influence results, and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop business opportunities, manage project risks, and collaborate on project delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and construction management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, and construction technology.
• Knowledge of trades, self-perform work, budgets, and lean principles.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 10+ years construction experience; 8+ years supervision; Florida Healthcare/AHCA experience required.

Work Environment

• Valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and work non-traditional hours.
• Physical activities include standing, walking, climbing, etc.
