Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee a major commercial project in Gainesville, FL. You will lead daily field operations from mobilization to closeout, managing subcontractors, schedules, logistics, safety, and quality on site.

Collaborate with project management and ownership, run site meetings, maintain short-term schedules, monitor progress, and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and company standards while promoting a safe, organized, and productive

Qualifications

• Senior Superintendent with commercial GC background.
• Ground-up student housing, multifamily, or large residential experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, logistics, safety, and quality.
• Coordinate closely with project management and ownership teams.
• Conduct site meetings and maintain short-term schedules.
• Monitor project progress and resolve field-related challenges.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Oversee inspections, punch-list activities, and project turnover.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
