Job summary

Metric Geo, a nationally recognized GC based in Fort Myers, seeks an experienced Senior Estimator to support projects across Florida. The role focuses on leading conceptual estimates, budgets and bids, with detailed takeoffs and scope reviews to ensure competitive pricing.

You will coordinate subcontractor pricing, identify risks, and pursue cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with preconstruction and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual and detailed estimating capabilities.
• Experience with aviation, healthcare, municipal or other complex commercial projects.
• Strong subcontractor relationships throughout Florida.
• Able to independently manage large and complicated estimates.
• Florida construction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual estimates, budgets and competitive bids.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and scope reviews.
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and bid coverage.
• Identify project risks, value-engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, operations and executive leadership.
• Support multiple projects across Florida.
