AEC Alliance in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to own major ground-up projects from mobilization through closeout. This role offers full autonomy on-site and a chance to manage projects ranging from $25M to $50M+ with zero travel.

Lead large, multi-phase builds across industrial, education, and commercial sectors, mentoring field staff while partnering closely with senior Project Managers and ownership to keep budget, schedule, and scope aligned.

Qualifications

• Senior Superintendent with GC experience required.
• 8+ years of construction management on large ground-up projects.
• Experience on new ground-up industrial, education, or commercial projects in the $25M-$50M range.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site construction operations end to end from pre-construction to closeout.
• Lead field teams on large, complex ground-up projects in industrial, education, and commercial sectors.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics on multi-phase, high-dollar jobsites.
• Drive schedule execution and maintain critical milestones over long-duration builds.
• Maintain quality control and safety standards at scale.
• Partner with senior Project Managers and ownership to align budget, schedule, and scope.
• Run OAC meetings, subcontractor coordination, and weekly site leadership meetings.
• Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff to build bench strength.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and site logs.

We're representing a locally headquartered, well-established General Contractor in Charlotte with a deep backlog of large-scale ground-up work spanning industrial, education, and commercial markets.

This is an opportunity for a Senior Superintendent to take ownership of major ground-up projects ranging from $25M to $50M+, with full autonomy from mobilization through closeout. This is a role for someone who has already run the big job and wants to keep running them, without giving up their home life for it. All work is 100% local to the Charlotte area, with zero travel required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own on-site construction operations end to end, from pre-construction planning through final closeout
• Lead field teams across large, complex ground-up projects in industrial, education, and commercial sectors
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics on multi-phase, high-dollar jobsites
• Drive schedule execution and hold the line on project milestones across long-duration builds
• Protect quality control and safety standards at a scale where the margin for error is thin
• Partner directly with senior Project Managers and ownership to keep budget, schedule, and scope aligned
• Run OAC meetings, subcontractor coordination, and weekly site leadership meetings
• Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff, building bench strength on your crew
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and site logs to a standard that holds up under scrutiny
• Build lasting relationships with ownership groups and trade partners that bring repeat work back to the company

Must-Have Qualifications

• Current Senior Superintendent (or Superintendent ready to step up) with a General Contractor
• 8+ years of construction management experience, with a track record running large ground-up projects
• Direct experience on new ground-up industrial, education, or commercial projects in the $25M-$50M range
• Proven ability to run a project independently, from sitework through CO, with minimal oversight
