We’re seeking a seasoned SUE Project Manager to lead utility investigations for transportation and infrastructure projects.

You will own projects from proposal through final deliverables, mentor staff, and ensure technical quality per ASCE 38 standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Subsurface Utility Engineering or utility mapping.
• Proven experience managing SUE projects from proposal to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE 38 utility quality levels.
• Experience coordinating with design engineers, survey teams, and utility owners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage SUE projects end-to-end: scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead proposals and client presentations.
• Oversee field operations and utility designation in the field.
• Ensure QA/QC across work products.
• Mentor SUE technicians and junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, survey teams, and utility owners.
• Manage multiple crews and subcontractors on concurrent projects.
