Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a seasoned SUE Project Manager to lead utility investigations across transportation and infrastructure projects. You will own projects end-to-end, mentor staff, and ensure technical quality per ASCE 38 standards.

Immigration sponsorship is not available except TN visa eligibility. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $145,000 annually, commensurate with experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience managing SUE projects from proposal through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE 38 utility quality levels and QA/QC.
• Ability to coordinate with design engineers, survey teams, and utility owners.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage SUE projects end-to-end: scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables.
• Lead proposals, client presentations, and project kickoffs.
• Oversee field designation and test hole operations.
• Ensure compliance with ASCE 38 and best practices across work products.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare technical reports and manage multiple crews.
