Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced drafter for HV substation design in Chattanooga. The role involves creating single-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and equipment wiring diagrams from input from design engineers.

You will mentor junior designers, incorporate vendor data, and conduct client walkdowns. Hybrid work allows three days in office and two remote days. A focused candidate will have 12+ years' experience and strong AutoCAD or MicroStation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent required.
• 12+ years in wiring diagram prep/review for high voltage substations (138kV+).
• Proficient with AutoCAD or MicroStation and basic 3D visualization.

Aufgaben

• Prepare design deliverables: SLDs, metering, diagrams, wiring schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to new designers.
• Interpret vendor information and perform client substation walkdowns.
