Job summary

TNMP is seeking qualified candidates for a System Technician I–V or Senior System Technician in Lewisville, TX. The role offers a clear progression path from entry-level duties to leadership and technical mastery in substation operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting substation, transmission, and metering equipment, while ensuring safe operation of the electric system. CDL and DOT qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in electrical utilities or substation environments preferred.
• Completion of System Technician competencies or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain substation and related equipment.
• Assist with switching operations, dispatching duties, and system restoration.
• Survey, stake, and support new construction and system improvements.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians as progression levels increase.
• Maintain records and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
