Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years of project engineering experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
• 2+ years of substation project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.
• PE license in at least one US state is required; PMP certification is preferred.
• May be subject to client-mandated drug/background checks.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded substations.
• Material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization.
• Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring and reporting of substation projects.
• Oversee project teams of engineers, designers and support staff.
• Coordinate with discipline groups (Protection, Civil, SCADA, Transmission, etc.) for successful project execution.
