Job summary

You will drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and permitting authorities, with opportunities to grow into engineering management or broader leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of high-voltage substation engineering experience
• Experience leading engineering design for Design-Only and EPC substations
• Experience as a technical lead or primary engineering contact for utility clients
• Strong background in Protection & Controls or Physical Design
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering execution of Design-Only and EPC substation projects
• Serve as the primary engineering contact for utility clients
• Lead and mentor Staff Engineers and multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate engineering activities across U.S. and global teams
• Oversee engineering QA/QC and design reviews
• Partner with Project Managers to manage schedules, labor budgets, and resources
• Evaluate scope changes and prepare engineering change orders
• Manage subcontracted engineering design and field support
• Present engineering solutions and proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Support business development with technical proposals
• Direct and manage field services
