WSP USA is seeking a Substation Project Manager to oversee high voltage and EHV substation projects, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships. This role requires delivering project excellence and coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple Texas locations including Houston, Austin, and Fort Worth, with remote-work flexibility.

The ideal candidate brings substantial Power Delivery experience, strong leadership, and thorough knowledge of PM processes, including risk

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within Power & Energy Market.
• 12 years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry
• Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience with IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale projects
• Knowledge of PM processes and tools: Contract Management, EV, Change Management, Risk Management, Scheduling (CPM/Primavera P6) and Financial Management

Mansioni

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV Substation projects including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress.
• Lead or participate in contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and appropriate staff assignment for reviews.
• Maintain regular client communications including monthly status, safety, and scope/budget impacts.
• Oversee project closeout and lessons-learned activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver trusted advisor solutions.
