Job summary

WSP is seeking a Substation Project Manager for our Power & Energy Management Team. The successful candidate will manage technical, schedule, quality and financial aspects of power substation projects and develop client relationships across the South and Southwest region.

This role is based in Houston, Austin or Fort Worth with the option to work remotely from a mutually agreeable location, and requires travel to WSP or client offices for periodic meetings.

Responsibilities

• PM leadership for HV/EHV substation projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders and report project progress to leadership and clients.
• Lead pursuit activities: go/no-go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation & pricing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
