Candidates must have at least 8 years of relevant experience and an Associate’s Degree in Drafting. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and benefits including healthcare plans and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of substation physical design experience required.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of various substation drawings including General Arrangement and Electrical Equipment Plans.
• Mentoring other designers and drafters.
• Performing walkdowns at client facilities.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools

Ability to visualize Equipment Details

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Education

Associate’s Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
