Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School or GED.
• At least 4 years of journey-level construction experience in civil or electrical work.
• Desired: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience at PG&E in civil or electrical Construction.
• Proficient in interpreting relevant drawings to confirm constructability.
• MS Office suite skills.
• Experience in an electrical utility or refinery.
• Ability to read relevant drawings (civil or electrical).
• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with contractors on substation construction projects; acts as liaison between contractor and engineering.
• Reads and interprets electrical or civil drawings; reviews site conditions for constructability.
• Tracks materials, quantities, project status, and communicates with Lead Inspector on scheduling and scope changes.
• Oversees safety tailboards for contractors; ensures projects meet PG&E standards through QA/QC.
• Participates in onsite tailboards to coordinate safety and productivity across all workgroups.
