Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience to lead complex projects from inception to closeout. You will drive definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives, and oversee risk management, change control and client communications.

Responsibilities include preparing statements of work, managing costs and profitability, processing invoices, coordinating with engineering disciplines, and mentoring junior project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work and work breakdown structures.
• Manage project costs to ensure profitability.
• Prepare client billings and track payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor risks and change management; ensure timely deliverables.
