Qualifications

• Electric Utility experience in the substation function required.
• 3+ years related work experience in substation design and analysis with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role for Associate Level, 6+ years of experience with 2 years in leadership for Manager Level.
• Excellent leadership, creativity, and technical background to understand and develop the substation business.
• Experience with growing a team and expanding business footprint.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, manage, and supervise both local and remote technical staff to develop and grow the Substation organization.
• Provide ongoing mentoring to direct reports and ensure mentoring is occurring across the team.
• Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among other team members and disciplines at all levels.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop procedures that meet requirements and improve effectiveness and quality.
• Lead technical communication and coordination with internal and external clients.
• Project Execution & Quality: Lead projects and proposal development for substation projects.
• Perform quality checks on proposals, conceptual and detail design substation projects.
• Work with Project Managers and clients to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables within budget.
• Business Operations & Reporting: Develop and implement plans for managing budgets and resources.
• Develop and submit regular reports to track business performance and results.
• Strategic Growth & Marketing: Grow, market, and support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and overall client engagement.
• Develop competitive strategies for acquiring targeted clients and expanding relationships with assigned clients.
• Market Engagement & Awareness: Understand and respond to overall market trends, challenges, and client concerns.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and technical committees to advance ENERCON’s market presence.
