Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Staff Substation Engineer to develop design deliverables for high-voltage electrical power substation projects. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field along with three years of experience in substation engineering. Responsibilities include supporting projects from conception to completion and preparing design packages. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $170,000 yearly, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including stock ownership participation and a retirement program.

Qualifications

• 3 years of substation engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support substation projects from the conceptual phase through completion.
• Prepare and develop substation design packages and calculations.
• Research and compile project-related data as required.
