Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer – Substation to lead complex engineering assignments across transmission and distribution substations.

You will work with Project Engineers, Designers, and clients to deliver conceptual through commissioning support, applying standards and best practices. The role emphasizes technical depth in at least one substation specialty while coordinating with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-Accredited Program.
• Minimum three years of relevant engineering work experience.
• Experience with substation design and project execution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering work packages under supervision of a licensed engineer.
• Coordinate technical activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Develop calculations, models, settings, databases, and BOMs for assigned scope.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Support project delivery from planning through commissioning.
