Job summary

WSB is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer-Substations to lead the development and delivery of complex substation projects. You will shape processes, elevate quality and mentor senior staff while supporting multi-disciplinary collaboration and high-performing execution.

You will bring 10+ years of substation design experience, a PE license, and strong leadership to guide teams, budgets and schedules on multiple projects with occasional client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in substation facility design with layout optimization.
• P.E. License required and experience mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and ensure efficient utilization of staff.
• Drive profitable growth of the department while meeting project staffing and billable goals.
• Manage performance, hiring and personnel development; mentor future leaders.
• Foster collaboration and continuous learning within the engineering team.
• Develop and implement training programs and project execution/quality control processes.
