Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC seeks a Lead Principal Engineer- Substation for a 1-year contract, remote with quarterly visits to Juno Beach. You will plan and manage large substation projects, coordinating internal teams and external engineers to meet ISO, IEEE, and utility requirements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in HV substation design/engineering, strong project management experience, and appropriate credentials; travel within North America is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years' experience in High Voltage substation design and engineering is highly helpful.
• Project management experience; PMP or PE is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale substation projects within budget and schedule.
• Provide technical oversight of external engineers and ensure ISO/compliance alignment.
• Manage substation design documents, drawings, and execution-ready packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set priorities and timelines.
• Support project commissioning activities to meet objectives.
