ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer near the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Lead complex substation projects, review and produce design drawings, and perform grounding and protection studies.

Requires a ABET engineering degree and Professional Engineer licensure (or ability to obtain within a year), with 6–10 years of substation experience and travel up to 15% in the continental U.S. Join a Leidos-affiliated firm offering generous benefits, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent.
• Registration as a professional engineer is required.
• 6-10 years of substation engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm.
• Unquestioned business and personal integrity.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% within the continental U.S.
• Must have a valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Professional Engineer licensure or able to obtain in the next year.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex substation projects from estimating to commissioning.
• Review and produce physical design drawings (GA, elevations, grounding, conduits, control building, foundations).
• Perform grounding, lightning protection, battery sizing, conduit fill, and substation sizing calculations and AC/DC studies.
• Proficient with substation protection and control design and industry standards.
• Review design drawings (one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring, control panels).
• Collaborate with civil/structural, protection and controls, and automation teams.
• Conduct site visits, scoping meetings, and project budgeting/forecasting.
• Maintain quality control and monitor project metrics.
