Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, near Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Senior Substation Engineer to lead complex substation projects from proposal through construction and energization. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Professional Engineer licensure required or able to obtain in the next year.
6–10 years of substation engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm.
Willingness to travel up to 15% within the continental U.S.
Valid driver’s license without restrictions.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex substation projects with internal multidiscipline teams from proposal through commissioning.
Review and produce design drawings including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel elevations.
Perform grounding, protection, and control studies and calculations for substations.
Apply industry standards and regulatory requirements to design and execution.
Coordinate with civil/structural, protection and controls, and automation teams.
Conduct site visits and scoping meetings; monitor project budget and schedule.
