An established industry player is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams in the execution of high voltage electrical substation projects. This role involves overseeing project schedules, budgets, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards. Primary Function:
As the leader of a project team, the Senior Substation Engineer performs engineering and design duties as well as organizes all activities required for the development and implementation of high voltage electrical substation projects across a multidisciplinary team of drafters, designers, and various levels of engineers. The Senior Substation Engineer drives project schedules and budgets for multiple projects at a time and functions as a Company contact for clients and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university is required, a power focus is preferred. Must be a licensed professional engineer; if registered in a state other than where the engineer will practice, the employee must be able to obtain a license within eighteen months of date of hire. A minimum of ten years of direct experience and proven knowledge in high voltage (138kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design field is required.
