Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with drafting software and mentoring junior engineers is preferred.
• Ability to convey information clearly and work with others across teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design physical and electrical layouts, one-line diagrams, wiring schematics and construction plans for 12kV, 69kV and 115kV equipment.
• Develop BOMs, grounding, arrestor selection, insulation coordination and auxiliary system sizing.
• Coordinate civil, structural, system protection, permitting teams and contractors for foundations, trenches and control room integrations.
• Develop and review technical specifications for major substation bid packages and final selection.
• Conduct site visits, review contractor submittals and support factory acceptance testing.
