Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Subcontracts Administrator to lead subcontract activities across multiple projects. You will qualify suppliers, issue RFQs, evaluate proposals, and maintain subcontract files, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, technical, and quality goals.

Under broad direction, you will manage subcontracting objectives, coordinate with the technical team and suppliers, and drive negotiations, documentation, and audits in support of program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 10+ years of procurement and subcontract management experience.
• Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements and complex Subcontracts.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR; experience with audits (DCMA/CPSR) preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with subcontract types (IDIQ, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price).

Responsibilities

• Drive major subcontract execution including cost, schedule, technical, and quality, ensuring full integration within the program.
• Serve as primary point of contact between the subcontractor and project management team.
• Oversee the entire procurement cycle, coordinating between technical teams and suppliers.
• Address critical, time-sensitive, and complex issues including evaluations, contract documentation, and modifications.
• Assist in developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for materials, equipment, and services.
• Lead supplier negotiations regarding cost, terms and long-term agreements.
• Control costs, perform price analysis and cost avoidance.
• Develop supplier sourcing strategies and scorecards for all commodities.
• Measure and improve vendor delivery performance; research market trends.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for upper management and leadership; support GR/IR strategies.
• Provide procurement support to business development for proposals.
