Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Cameron, LA is seeking an experienced Contract Subcontracts Manager to oversee engineering, procurement and construction subcontracts for the company's LNG projects. You will manage all phases from bid development to close-out, coordinate with Project, Legal and QA/QC teams, and lead Subcontract Administrators.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7–10+ years in contract/subcontracting, travel willingness, and strong negotiation and drafting skills to protect project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Business or related field preferred.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience with contract/subcontracts.
• 5+ years in engineering/construction subcontracting for oil and gas.
• Willingness to travel and work on project site in Louisiana.
• Knowledge of contract agreements, legal requirements, invoicing and change orders.
• Strong writing skills for drafting simple legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and form subcontracts as part of the project team.
• Lead Subcontract Administrators and oversee all phases of subcontracting.
• Prepare subcontract plans, bids, evaluation and award recommendations.
• Review proposals, negotiate terms with support from Legal and Project teams.
• Ensure insurance, NDAs, pre-award and close-out compliance.
• Track changes, manage invoices and lien releases; conduct status meetings.
