Bechtel Energy Inc. is seeking a Senior (Sub) Contracts Specialist to manage subcontract formation, bid evaluations, and contract administration in Houston, Texas. You will craft and negotiate terms, coordinate with Legal, Finance, Engineering and Construction, and supervise invoicing and change management processes.

Responsibilities include preparing commercial bid summaries, risk mitigations, and ensuring compliance with policies. Domestic travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in contracts or related occupation.
• Experience in negotiation and administration of subcontracts and commercial agreements.
• Experience with change management, cost and pricing control, and contract compliance.

Responsabilités

• Manage bid process and assemble RFP documents with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead commercial evaluation of bids, negotiate terms, and prepare risk assessments.
• Develop, negotiate, and write subcontract and services agreements as assigned.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Engineering, Construction teams; prepare bid summaries.
• Oversee invoicing, payment approvals, and change management tasks.
• Ensure contract deliverables, warranty, and closeout procedures; travel up to ~25% domestically.
