Job summary

Aquatech in Houston seeks a Senior Subcontracts Coordinator to manage procurement of technical commodities for industrial water and wastewater systems. You will finalize orders, negotiate terms, and oversee subcontractors through project completion.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years purchasing experience, international sourcing, SAP know-how, and strong vendor relationships. This exempt role requires in-office presence in Houston with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• 7+ years purchasing experience for technical commodities.
• 3+ years international purchasing.
• 3+ years SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Finalize orders with Subcontractors and manage until project completion, including terms, rates, spare parts, and invoices.
• Purchase all commodities and equipment for industrial water and wastewater systems promptly.
• Review requisition packages and prepare bid requests; negotiate within budget.
• Confer with vendors for price, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and track order status with vendors.
• Resolve discrepancies, maintain procurement reports, and communicate with all departments.
• Travel as needed to meet project requirements.
