Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL seeks a Subcontracts Specialist to lead the full subcontract acquisition process from proposal through award and execution. You will manage requirements, SOWs, RFIs/RFPs, evaluations, source selections, negotiations, and compliance with FAR/DFARS/DPAS/CPSR.

You will monitor subcontractor cost, schedule, and technical performance, draft major contractual documents, track milestones, and maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure on-time delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Experience with Government contracting/subcontracting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Subcontract management process from proposal through execution.
• Draft and negotiate contract vehicles including subcontracts and NDAs.
• Establish major contractual milestones and reviews.
• Track corrective actions with Suppliers when necessary.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships and provide status updates.
• Ensure budget and sales forecast performance is met.
• Travel up to 10–25% to supplier facilities (primarily domestic).
• Ability to obtain US Government clearance.
