Job summary

You will manage subcontract strategies, negotiate terms, and oversee contract performance across government programs, coordinating with engineering, finance, and program management to ensure timely delivery and compliance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in subcontracts (or equivalent with 6 years experience if no degree) and readiness to travel ~25% to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience; Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience; In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related subcontracts experience.
• Experience with government procurements and contract management.
• Ability to interpret program management, engineering and supplier demands in changing environments with minimal guidance.
• Travel to supplier sites up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract strategy formulation and execution aligned with program objectives.
• Lead negotiations to establish subcontract terms and manage contract lifecycle.
• Monitor subcontractor performance with defined metrics and conduct audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and program management to meet requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks in subcontracting activities.
