Job summary

This remote role leads the full subcontract lifecycle, balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements while collaborating with program teams across functions.

The successful candidate will navigate FAR/DFARS compliance, negotiate terms, and oversee risk management and supplier relationships in a highly regulated environment. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads subcontract activities for complex materials, equipment, and services in defense and aerospace programs.
• Develops and executes subcontract strategies aligned with program objectives, customer requirements, compliance obligations, and business goals.
• Prepares and reviews subcontract specifications, statements of work, sourcing plans, bid packages, and terms and conditions for complex procurements.
• Leads supplier solicitation activities, conducts bidders’ conferences, manages proposal receipt and evaluation, and supports source selection decisions.
• Performs detailed cost analysis, price analysis, and overall proposal evaluation based on technical, schedule, financial, and performance considerations.
