Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Principal/Subcontract Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain team onsite. You will own contractual management for suppliers and oversee sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration, and closeout across complex programs. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, 5+ years in subcontracts or 3+ years with a Master's, and experience with SAP.

U.S. Secret clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ experience in Subcontracts/Procurement or 3 years with a Master’s.
• Experience with SAP or related business applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure complex goods and services across the subcontract lifecycle.
• Evaluate proposals, negotiate, award, execute, administer, and close out.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage risk with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.
• Lead and mentor junior Subcontract Specialists and cross-functional teams.
