Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Subcontract Program Manager for the NGI program in Huntsville, AL. You will lead subcontract activities, decompose RFP requirements, and generate supplier templates to support prime proposals.

You will assess supplier capacity, develop profiles, and recommend sourcing strategies to meet forecasted production rates while coordinating with NGI leadership and the program team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accrediated college, or equivalent experience / combined education.
• 10+ years overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a combination of subcontract and / or program management
• 2+ years of overall experience in working with large (> $50M) subcontracts
• 5+ years of overall experience as a program manager in the capture and development phase
• Technical knowledge of space and missile products
• US citizen, able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, pass drug and background checks, eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

• Be the subcontract point of contact for all bid and proposal activity in support of Prime contract modifications.
• Decompose Prime RFP requirements and determine impacted documents describing supplier contract changes.
• Generate supplier RFP templates in support of Prime RFPs; serve as SME for Subcontract Management Teams.
• Conduct supplier capacity assessments to determine capacity for forecasted NGI growth; develop supplier profiles and recommendations for NGI leadership.
• Support NGI Subcontract Team Leadership; provide status reporting and support NGI Supply Chain rhythm.
• Travel to customer and subcontractor locations up to 30%.
