Job summary

L’Oréal in Clark, NJ is seeking a Senior Planner – Sub-Contracting to lead demand and supply coordination with contract manufacturers, manage open stock SKUs and production plans, and drive improvements in lead times and plan accuracy.

You will partner with internal and external teams, analyze bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and support KPI targets while ensuring quality and timely delivery for cosmetics products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a high performance manufacturing facility - cosmetics industry preferred.
• APICS, CIPM, or NAPM, CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage catalog of open stock SKUs and multiple contract manufacturing partnerships.
• Develop strong relationships with Contract Manufacturer(s).
• Formalize working processes and KPIs for service, plan stability and compliance.
• Monitor supply performance and participate in production plan validation.
• Analyze and send monthly production plans to Contract Manufacturer(s).
• Track bottlenecks and mitigations to meet monthly plan targets.
• Lead capacity planning strategies with Contract Manufacturer(s).
• Conduct root cause analysis for plan misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop logistics requirements with suppliers and map supply chains.
• Lead continuous process improvement projects and manage inventory to targets.
• Communicate risks and align master data with Contract Manufacturer(s).
