Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and sustain sUAS operations in Crane, Indiana.

You will assemble, configure, test and repair small UAS platforms, perform diagnostics on electronic and RF subsystems, and manage parts, tools and documentation for mission readiness. The role requires a strong background in electronics or unmanned systems, plus hands-on maintenance and field support experience with DoD-related activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electronics, aviation or unmanned systems.
• Hands-on ability to build, configure, test, troubleshoot and repair small UAS platforms.
• Experience with inventory, parts accountability and scheduling.
• Current Group 1/2 UAV license/certification and flight qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS assets, components, tools, batteries and supplies inventory.
• Assemble, configure, test, troubleshoot and repair UAS platforms.
• Diagnose subsystems: electrical, RF, power, control and mechanical.
• Prepare systems for test and field activities; manage documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, operators and logisticians on issues.
• Travel for testing, demonstrations and surge support.
