Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Ogden is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver high-quality services with a focus on the guest’s total look and contribute to store performance through service sales and productivity.

Ideal candidates hold a cosmetology license, have prior salon experience, and can work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, haircolor and styling.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goal of $1250 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Support the execution of in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
