Job summary

Adient Plymouth MI is seeking a Studio Engineer to creatively solve design issues affecting aesthetics and manufacturing goals during Phase 0–2 of the Adient PLUS process. You will work in CAD (CATIA V5/V6) with data from Adient/OEM Engineering alongside Industrial Design input to ensure Class A surfaces are feasible for both internal and OEM studios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Associates/Technical degree with four years automotive experience.
• Six years automotive design experience.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD data for new Adient process/product during Phase 0.
• Coordinate with Industrial Designer, ADV reps and Product Development.
• Hands-on work with prototype parts and demonstrators.
• Coordinate work with CS, Trim, Foam, S&M, SMEs, and Automation teams.
• Lead PSDR and advise on Class-A surfacing feasibility.
