Job summary

Adient plc in Plymouth, MI, seeks a Studio Engineer to creatively solve design and manufacturing challenges for Phase 0–2 in the Adient PLUS process. You will generate CAD data in CATIA V5/V6 and collaborate with Industrial Design and OEM teams to ensure Class A surfacing feasibility.

Responsibilities include leading PSDR reviews, coordinating with SDT, and helping define craftsmanship criteria while reporting to the Studio Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Automotive design experience preferred.
• Proficient in CAD systems, especially CATIA V5/V6.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD data for Phase 0 design concepts.
• Coordinate with Industrial Design and OEM Engineering teams.
• Lead PSDR and determine if Phase-A surfacing can begin.
• Maintain PSDR records and craftability criteria.
