Job summary

Adient US LLC in Plymouth MI is seeking a Studio Engineer to creatively problem solve design issues affecting aesthetics and manufacturing goals during Phase 0–2 of the Adient PLUS process. You will work in CATIA V5/V6 to translate Class A surfaces into feasible designs that meet OEM expectations.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will create CAD data, collaborate with Industrial Designers and ADV representatives, prepare PSDR reviews, and help define feasibility and packaging criteria for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Associates/Technical Degree with four years automotive experience accepted.
• Six years of experience in automotive design considered.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD data during Phase 0 to represent new Adient process/product.
• Collaborate with Industrial Designer and ADV representative for feasibility and aesthetics.
• Prepare PSDR and determine if Class A surfacing can begin.
• Assist in gathering data from OEM and defining EBOM/ QBOM relevance.
• Maintain PSDR timelines and issue lists for SDT resolution.
