Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Sr. Structures Engineer to provide technical support at Dover AFB. This full-time role requires extensive systems engineering experience, including DoD program work, and ensuring airworthiness and interoperability across lifecycles.

The position emphasizes system design, integration, risk assessment, and technical documentation, with an expectation of strong communication with government personnel and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in systems engineering including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.
• Knowledge of DoD, AF and related engineering principles, processes and procedures.
• Experience with IETMS and JCALS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering across design, integration, production, sustainment and verification phases.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain processes to ensure weapon systems are integrated, manufactured, and operationally safe.
• Provide system integration guidance to program offices for installation and maintenance.
