Job summary

RTX is seeking an Engineering professional to support structures analysis for Pratt & Whitney components. The role covers design cycle stages from concept through certification and manufacturing, emphasizing reliability and cost efficiency. On-site work is required in East Hartford, CT.

Required is a Mechanical or Aerospace degree with 5+ years of experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years). U.S. citizenship is a must for access to program information.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Advanced degree with 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Mechanical Structures engineering experience (1+ years).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Structures support across all phases of the design cycle, from concept to operation.
• Conduct, improve, and lead structures analysis on components and assemblies.
• Identify and correct structural issues to ensure project completion.
• Assist with new products and processes and improve existing products.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis with Ansys and Teamcenter Simcenter.
• Collaborate with Design, Heat Transfer, Structures, and Aero teams.
• Work on-site as required.
